ren is a personal concierge that does the hard things: the tickets, tables, and answers that take days, a dozen phone calls, and someone who won't give up. It is made by Ren Human Systems, Inc. in San Francisco.

the jobs nobody has time for

Some tasks are not hard because they are complicated. They are hard because they take persistence: hard-to-get tickets, fully booked restaurants, stubborn refunds, cancellations that route you to a retention desk, and government queues where every call starts over. ren takes those tasks off your plate and works them until they are done.

it works the phone and the web, like a person would

ren places real phone calls, waits on hold, navigates websites, and fills in forms. When a task takes days, it keeps calling and following up. It does the work itself instead of giving you instructions to do it, and it reports back when there is progress.

You stay in control: ren asks for your approval before it pays for anything or commits you to anything. It connects to services like Gmail and Google Calendar only with your permission, and uses that access solely to carry out your tasks.

a concierge with a constitution

ren works under a founding document that governs what it is and how it acts: it tells the truth about what it is, it acts only on your behalf and with your authority, and it repairs its errors. You can read the whole thing in ren's constitution.

ren human systems, inc.

Ren Human Systems, Inc. is based in San Francisco, California. The company builds ren so that people get their time and attention back from the errands that eat both. The name comes from 人, the character for person: the point of the company is the human it works for. We are a small team and we are hiring.

private beta on ios

ren is currently in private beta and runs on iOS. There is no published pricing yet. Invitations go out from the waitlist in the order requests arrive.
